The story of Riverglades.
Riverglades is one of WoW: Forever's new zones, a green river country in the south-east of Khaz Modan, east of the Badlands and the Burning Steppes, that Classic's map never had. It is a land with a lost history of its own: it once belonged to Stormwind.
Its story begins in the First War. When the Old Horde swept through these lands, it attacked the town of Sunnyglade, sparing only a mage's tower, and enslaved the survivors until Stormwind's soldiers came to free them and rebuild. But the Horde came back, and in the end the kingdom, needing every sword at home, gave the region up.
Some never accepted that. At Farholde Keep, the Brotherhood of the Horse under Knight Commander Demar Brant has fought ever since to take Riverglades back for the Alliance. The Horde holds Rog'mar and Bolder'ok, ogres are entrenched in Krol'dok Stronghold, the cult of the Twilight's Hammer hides in Twilight's Shroud, and the goblins of the Steamwheedle Cartel run Powderfuse Port, a neutral harbour with ships to the south. It is a level 35 to 45 zone, contested by both sides.
