The story of Moonglade.
Moonglade is a hidden vale of silver trees and still water in the mountains of northern Kalimdor, sacred to every druid in the world. At its heart lies Lake Elune'ara, named for the night elves' moon goddess, and around it the Cenarion Circle, the druidic order that night elves and tauren share, keeps its home.
Few places carry as much of the druids' history. Malfurion Stormrage, the first of the night elf druids, slept here for centuries in the barrow dens beneath the hills, his spirit wandering the Emerald Dream, until Tyrande Whisperwind woke him with the Horn of Cenarius when the Third War came to Kalimdor. A few years later, Moonglade was opened to druids of every race, and Keeper Remulos, son of Cenarius, became its guardian. From his shrine he works against the taint that has crept into the dreaming green dragons.
Moonglade is a place of peace. Its wardens punish anyone who brings violence to Nighthaven, and night elf and tauren druids walk its paths side by side. Each year, during the Lunar Festival, the demigod Omen stirs from his sleep at the bottom of the lake and must be put back to rest. The only road in on foot runs through the furbolg tunnels of Timbermaw Hold from Felwood, which keeps the vale as quiet as its keepers like it.
