The map is Blizzard’s own; who lives here and what they sell or teach is Classic’s data, named below.
The map is from Blizzard’s WoW: Forever beta client, version 1.60.1.70425. The people, their titles, wares and trades are Classic’s (cmangos-classic), each placed in town by the client’s own terrain; Forever can change them. Item names and tooltips are Forever’s. The story is written for this site from the game's lore. © Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.
Auberdine is the night elves' harbour on the Darkshore coast and the only settlement of note in the zone. Boats run from its docks to Rut'theran Village beneath Teldrassil and across the sea to the human port of Menethil Harbor, so travellers of the Alliance pass through constantly. Its people, among them the druid Alanndarian Nightsong, spend much of their time trying to understand the sickness creeping through the forest around them.
