Astranaar is the night elves' main town in Ashenvale, built on an island in a quiet lake at the heart of the forest. Its graceful halls and moonwells look peaceful, but it is a frontier post as much as a home: the Sentinels who keep it watch the roads toward the Warsong camps in the east, and most of the work handed out here is about defending the forest from orcs, satyrs and corrupted furbolgs.
