Stonard is the Horde's fortress in the Swamp of Sorrows, a town of orcish stone and timber built on an island in the marsh. It dates back to the First War, when it was a Horde base in the human lands; it was badly damaged then, but the Horde has rebuilt it, and it is now the Horde's main stronghold in the south of the Eastern Kingdoms.
